Welcome to Babraham Cricket Club

We are a friendly, open, inclusive club offering cricket to suit any needs and ability:

-       2 x Saturday teams in CCA Senior 2 & Minor league

-       Sunday team playing friendly cricket

-       T20 Midweek cricket on Wednesdays in Adams Harrison Midweek Cricket League

-       Junior training and matches on weekday evenings

We also have practice facilities available to all members including artificial net, bowling machine and ECB accredited coaches. On top of all this, we have run a collaborative programme with Craigieburn Cricket Club in Melbourne since 2004 allowing players to experience living and playing in a different environment. This winter, another of our young players will be going to Australia to enjoy their hospitality.

The club plays at Babraham Park (recognised as one of the most picturesque grounds in Cambridgeshire) but still just 5 miles outside central Cambridge. The club itself has been based at this attractive location since 1850 and hosted many of Cambridgeshire’s first class games during the 1860s. Since then the ground has continued to provide great cricket with some assistance for the bowler but plenty of runs from the bat.

2015 offers new opportunities for the club, why not come along to our net sessions and be part of the next chapter in our history.

The 2015 AGM will be held at Newton Hall on 15 February 2015 at 7.30 pm. All Club members are welcome.
